Abu Dhabi World Trade Centre
Abu Dhabi World Trade Center is a fully integrated mixed-use complex combining commercial, residential, retail, cultural and hospitality functions within one coordinated development. The project includes a 92-storey residential tower, The Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid, rising to 382 metres and recognised as the tallest building in Abu Dhabi. The development also incorporates a 59-storey office tower offering approximately 72,000 m² of prime workspace with a ventilated façade system, as well as a 16-storey luxury hotel with 195 rooms.
At podium level, the project includes an indoor mall with 160 retail outlets across 60,000 m² alongside terraces and landscaped rooftop gardens, and the adjacent Souk component reinterprets traditional marketplace urban patterns within a contemporary architectural setting. The mixed-use composition required precise structural interfacing and circulation planning to ensure seamless integration between residential, commercial and public domains.
ACC served as the main contractor responsible for the complete construction of the towers, podium structure and associated fit-outs. The delivery scope included substructure and superstructure works, façade systems, architectural finishes, MEP integration, vertical transportation and external works. Construction required high-rise core sequencing, coordinated logistics in a constrained urban site and complex systems commissioning across varied building typologies.
The Abu Dhabi World Trade Center stands as a significant urban development that demonstrates ACC’s capability to deliver large-scale mixed-use environments with multiple interdependent asset classes operating within a unified footprint.
