Ministerial City (Cité Ministérielle)

ACC is pleased to announce it has secured a large project in the Republic of Benin as part of its carefully calibrated West Africa expansion.

The Ministerial City Project serves as one of the cornerstone projects of the Beninese Government Action Programme to enhance government effectiveness and ability through the creation of a state-of-the-art office complex that will exclusively cater for the various government ministries.

The project is located in Cotonou and is adjacent to foreign embassies, the National Congress and the Presidential Palace. Upon its completion, it will be the heart of the central business district.

The project encompasses a site of approximately 5 hectares that will be developed to include 10 fully fitted and furnished office buildings. These smart buildings will be approximately 5,000 m2 each and be ground + five floors. The works will also include the construction of ancillary buildings, a central car park structure and the public realm and in infrastructure works.

As part of our full spectrum offering, ACC also arranged the financing for the project.

Mashreq Bank Headquarters Tower

Designed by one of the worlds leading architectural consultancies, SOM,  the 32-story-tall Mashreq Bank Headquarters, with its boldly cantilevered form, has a built-up area of 71,000 m² and includes a range of facilities comprising of retail banking, conference facilities, an auditorium, a landscaped garden and 35,000 m² of premium office space.

The L shaped typical floor plate opens to the north with its orientation allowing offices on both sides.  The glass facades of the building capture daylight and limit solar gain through a sophisticated series of horizontal and vertical shading devices that articulate the building’s primary facades.  The screen elements provide dynamic perspectives of the building when it is viewed from different angles

The tower consists of four levels of basement (carparks, MEP & Plant Equipment), an eight level podium consisting of parking facilities, cafeteria, conference centers, Auditorium (350 seats), Banqueting Hall, and other facilities such as a roof top terrace, dining, executive offices, meeting rooms, lounge, board room, informal meeting spaces, landscaped gardens and panoramic views of the Sheikh Zayed Road.

World Trade Centre Abu Dhabi

Its construction is generally recognised as the largest building contract awarded in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.

The award-winning 92-storey residential tower, The Burj Mohammed Bin Rashid,  is 382 m high and is the tallest building in Abu Dhabi.   It offers 474 apartments and penthouses, with some of the best sea and city views across Abu Dhabi.  It was named “6th Best new skyscraper in 2014” by Emporis and was the 2015 winner of the “Best Tall Building in the Middle East and Africa” by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat.

The office tower reaches 59 storeys with 72,000 m² of prime office space. Unique sky offices offer unparalleled panoramic views of the city. These are equipped with an innovative ventilated facade, especially coated to reflect infrared-solar radiation

The smallest tower,  at 16 storeys, houses the 4* Courtyard by Marriott hotel with 195 rooms.

The mall has 160 outlets spread over 60,000 m² and is home to a selection of international fashion brands, casual dining outlets, an 8 screen cinema and over 5000 m² of terraces and rooftop gardens.

Etihad Towers

This unique and prestigious mixed-use complex is made up of five towers ranging from 54 to 75 floors and covers an area of over 500,000 m².

Tower 1 (75 floors) serves as the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers hotel and serviced apartments, offering 382 rooms and suites, 199 luxurious serviced apartments and an array of beauty, fashion and relaxation amenities.

Towers 2 (60 floors), 4 (60 floors) and 5 (55 floors) are spectacular residential towers, offering 884 apartments and penthouses, ranging from 1-5 bedrooms.

Tower 3 (64 floors) operates as a prestigious office tower with a total area of 56,000 m² .

All apartments, hotel rooms and office spaces have stunning sea views, overlooking the Abu Dhabi coastline.

Sun and Sky Towers

Tower One, ‘Sky Tower’, the taller of the two at 292 m is one of the tallest buildings in Abu Dhabi. Tower Two, ‘Sun Tower’ is 247 m.

The Towers’ distinctive elliptical shape has been designed to reduce wind resistance and soften its dominance over the development.

This iconic mixed-use development will serve as entry point to developer Aldar’s mega development at Shams. Sky Tower has 474 residential units and 75,300 m² of commercial office space while Sun Tower is exclusively residential with 680 units. They are joined by the Podium which houses a mall, three gyms, cafe’s and restaurants.

The open-air leisure deck above the podium offers three swimming pools, a jacuzzi, tennis courts and children’s play areas.

Spira

It will offer two luxury hotels, premium and luxury retail brands, offices and 13-floors of serviced residences and apartments.

The tower will have a helipad, an observatory deck, an exclusive clubhouse, high-tech and high-speed elevators and boast a panoramic view of the Okhla bird sanctuary.

Other highlights include indoor swimming pools, a children’s play area, a business lounge, rooftop gardens, a gymnasium, a professional sound studio and a cigar lounge and library.

Almas Tower

The office development consists of two intersecting elliptically shaped towers on a sculptured 3-storey podium. The taller tower is 360m high and has 65 storeys above ground and the smaller tower is 240 m high with 54 storeys above ground. There are  4 basement levels containing car parks and plant and equipment rooms

Masdar Institute Courtyard Offices

Designed by Foster & Partners, The Courtyard Office is a landmark office building targeted as the HQ for the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (and its various project units which require office space) and a high-end business centre. It also offers private/institutional office space for selected companies and organisations.

The building is built from an elevated podium structure and features three individual segments covering two plots, connected by bridges.

The scope of works included shell and core office building, inclusive of lobbies, cores, MEP equipment & facilities and unfurnished office/retail space.

The MEP design required innovative mixed mode ventilation, radiant cooling, natural lighting, solar power generation and building management systems.

MIG Tower, Riyadh

The tower includes three basements, a ground floor, 19 office floors, two garden floors and three technical floors.

The work includes all structural and civil, architectural and MEP works with all associated builder’s works and internal finishes. The MEP scope of works covers HVAC, plumbing, sanitary works, fire fighting, electrical and LV systems.

Al Bidda Tower

The tower is 215m high and twists 60 degrees through its height.  It also varies in width, being at its narrowest at the 14th floor and increasing in width so that the apex is wider than the base.

It provides commercial space and provision has also been made for a variety of other potential facilities including business centres, showrooms, restaurants, art galleries, outdoor cafés and a health club.

The 7 storey car park can accommodate 1000 cars and has direct underground access to the tower. The carpark design discreetly reflects and complements the unique diagonal elements of the tower.

The façade is formed from the utilization of an unconventional diagonal curtain wall accommodating progressively varying floor plates culminating at the top with an illuminated roof facing the Corniche.
