OMNIYAT Appoints ACC Group as Main Contractor for VELA and VELA Viento in Marasi Bay

Together, the projects span a built-up area of 92,237 m², reflecting OMNIYAT’s vision of redefining luxury living in the heart of the city.
Landmark Appointment
Earlier this year, OMNIYAT, the leader in Dubai’s ultra-luxury real estate market, appointed Arabian Construction Company (ACC Group) as the main contractor for both developments. With site mobilization now complete and major works well underway, ACC brings decades of expertise in executing technically complex and architecturally distinctive projects, positioning the Group as the ideal partner for these iconic properties.
Bold Architecture and Design
Designed by world-renowned Foster + Partners and Parisian design duo Gilles & Boissier, VELA and VELA Viento embody a bold vision of integrated, ultra-luxury living. Set within a walkable waterfront district, the developments will offer refined living experiences for the global elite.
VELA Viento in particular is set to push the boundaries of modern design, featuring three duplex residences with ‘hanging’ dining rooms connecting its twin towers—an architectural concept unique to the property. It will also offer two crowning penthouses and lifestyle amenities perched 100 metres high, including an infinity pool, sun deck, yoga studio, and double-height gym.
Progress and Delivery Timeline
Main works on both projects is advancing at pace, with early construction milestones already achieved. Handover is scheduled for 2027, with VELA targeted for Q2 and VELA Viento in Q3. The developments will join OMNIYAT’s growing constellation of ultra-luxury assets in Marasi Bay, including The Lana and The Lana Residences, managed by Dorchester Collection.
