ACC Group Reaches 15 Million Safe Man-Hours Without LTI on Ramhan Island
Behind every villa, road and waterway at Ramhan Island is a team of people who begin each day with one shared goal: to finish it as safely as they started. It is a simple aim, and on a project of this size it is also one of the hardest to keep.
The safety of its employees has always been a top priority for Arabian Construction Company (ACC Group). The company is proud to have reached 15 million safe man-hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) at Ramhan Island, the newly developed waterfront property by Eagle Hills off the coast of Abu Dhabi. This milestone marks an important achievement for the teams working on the execution and bringing the development to life.
Ramhan Island is being developed as a residential and premium hospitality destination, surrounded by waterways and Abu Dhabi’s natural marine landscape. Spanning more than 4 million square metres, the development will include 1,800 villas, 900 residences, a luxury hotel, retail and dining destinations and a marina. Bringing together luxury homes, hospitality and leisure in one waterfront community.
The development will also feature a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, including 50 private villas and floating villas positioned over the water.
Delivery Across Two Phases:
The Ramhan Island project milestone covers work across two major phases. Phase 1A comprises 326 villas across 126,770 m². Phase 3 comprises 205 villas across 91,775 m². This scope also includes associated buildings, infrastructure, marine works and landscaping.
A Major Safety Milestone:
The record was achieved while delivering more than 500 luxury villas at Ramhan Island, one of the newest waterfront developments in Abu Dhabi. This is a testament to the meticulous planning, training and commitment that the ACC Group has invested to ensure every employee on its team is protected at all times while delivering projects.
