ACC awarded residential and enabling infrastructure package at Modon’s Ras El Hekma development in Egypt

ACC will deliver a comprehensive package of residential, community and infrastructure works within the Wadi Yemm – M1 Precinct, the first district to be developed within the Ras El Hekma masterplan. As the inaugural precinct, Wadi Yemm is designed to establish the architectural character, urban framework and public realm principles that will guide the future development of the destination’s 18 planned precincts.

Developed by Modon Ras El Hekma for Development SAE, with Hill International serving as Project Management Consultant and Engineer, the project will be delivered over a 21-month construction programme.

The award includes the construction of 54 premium residential villas and a residents’ clubhouse with a combined built-up area of approximately 58,936 square metres, alongside extensive enabling infrastructure that will support the wider community. The residential offering comprises 30 five-bedroom villas and 24 seven-bedroom villas, featuring two distinct architectural styles, Contemporary Mediterranean and Modern Spanish, carefully developed to complement the site’s coastal setting while creating a cohesive yet varied residential environment.

ACC’s scope also includes the delivery of:

• Roads and utility infrastructure
• Public realm and landscape works
• The 230,792-square-metre Wadi Park
• More than 60,000 square metres of public landscaping
• Approximately 68,000 square metres of roads
• Architectural, MEP, landscape and external works under the project’s provisional scope

Located on Egypt’s Mediterranean coastline, Ras El Hekma is one of the country’s most ambitious urban developments and forms part of the landmark Egypt-UAE partnership to create a next-generation coastal city. The 170-square-kilometre masterplan integrates residential communities, hospitality, commercial districts, public spaces and sustainable infrastructure to support long-term economic growth, investment and tourism.

Designed around its natural coastal landscape, Wadi Yemm prioritises walkability, connectivity and environmental performance through carefully planned streets, landscaped public spaces and view corridors that maximise access to the shoreline. The precinct integrates shaded pedestrian routes, shared community spaces and climate-responsive architecture that optimises natural daylight, cross-ventilation and outdoor living, creating a vibrant and sustainable coastal community.
